The werewolves are unaware of their harmful effect on us. They have no idea what problems their technology is, how it spoils our meat and lightens our chase. In fact, they don't even know that we exist. It's getting painful, their ignorance, everyone is restless with hunger and are just waiting to run down the ravine and tell these creatures, in little words, how exactly they feel about this. But, it's not a smart idea.. we might end up like our prey, blind and dying. It's time to group together, form a plan...

WHY ARE YOU ALL STILL HERE? GO FIND SOME PLACE BETTER TO GO TO!
I'm planning on making another rp site, but one of a different genre, and with different rules.
I've seriously... given up here. I don't know, I was working with two different people at my side in the beginning, and now I'm on my own to take care of all of this, all of you. I'm sorry I left without notice, something bad went on in my life that I really don't want to talk about.
However, I'm back to tell you that the Renaissance is up for grabs.
If any of you want to follow me into a future rp board, that's fine. PM me for the address and I'll send you it once I do create it. Otherwise, I'll be here to pick out those who have been spesifically loyal to this site, even while I have vanished, to take the reigns if they do desire it.
Conditions: Trees drop their vestiges of snow onto startled animal's heads, but everyone is greatful for the warm up. Old grazing paths are found again, and prey intake is almost back to normal, despite the circumstances. Nothing is green yet, but for once the sun is flashing it's rays down onto frostbitten faces, grins shared by everyone. Something's starting to look up..

Good times, man! « Thread Started on Aug 17, 2007, 9:54pm »
Salutations, guys! I guess you know why I'm posting in the absence board, eh? Well, yeah, I have already technically been away from roleplaying already, but I just wanted to tell you what's been up and where I am if you wanted to contact me.
If you were wondering: my life is actually going pretty well. Just doing farmwork (tractor repairs, animal care) and practicing in my drawing/writing skills.
I gotta say that this RP experience here has been amazing! You guys all have such personality and I love each of your individual RP styles. RPing with all of you guys has really helped me improve my descriptive writing and character build up. It was also really fun to see you guys develop over the years we have RPed together.
I'm not exactly saying goodbye; I'll be in contact if you need me, and check back here once in a while, but I think you deserve to know what's up with me, you know?
I am usually dwelling on Deviantart, putting up some of my stuff and learning the how-to's in art. The link there is: meowmaddness.deviantart.com
And of course, I can be contacted by email if there is anything you'd like to share or if you just want to say hi: meowmaddness@hotmail.com

Hola Meow!
It was fabulous roleplaying with you too! Yeah, my post has so much point to it doesn't it. *shot* I've really got to learn to write better. *sigh* I swear I talk better as a wolf than a person. *dies*
Aaanyhoot....
I miss Cluuid. I'll always remember Meowmaddness and her chubby blue wolf. =D
*is going to go check out your DeviantArt later*
DeviantArt can be fun and also somewhat depressing...Everything on there is so good. =O
*is nowhere near that good and doesn't even know why she bothered getting an account on there*

XD
Ah, so many memories. You can really get attached to your characters, can't you? I guess it's because of the constant POV of your wolves. I wish I had saved all of my posts from the older sites. DX We should probably start saving the ones that were on here, just in case. o-o
DeviantArt is incredibly useful. I've gained so many art skills since being there. From the tutorials to the constuctive criticism, there's a lot to see. It actually helps to know there are artists way better than me because it drives me forward.

I know what you mean. I wish I'd saved some from EW. There's been loads of times I've wanted to check something my wolves have done and then though oh wait, that was back on EW. It's a pain. Dx It's weird actually, I used to be really attached to all my characters, but now I've dropped pretty much all of them except Lark, Luka and Zanzibor. I couldn't get rid of Luka. She's my baby. xD
*nod nod* Yeah, it is helpful. =P I think I need to either a) read the manual to Serfif Drawplus or b) Get a more simple program though. 'Cause I need to improve coloring on the computer and stuff like that, only thing is the manual for Serif is so big...Well ok, it's not that big, but I really can't be bothered to read it all. xD So I'm just winging it and failing quite miserably 'cause I can't work it all out. Dx

Exactly. It's like, "Oh... EW. Yeah. I can sorta remember EW. >.>;" I still remember my first post with Cluuid on EW. One of the main points in that post was that she was thrashing back and forth and being a general grump on the Sweet Sands board. XD I had a really weird parallel thing going on with Cluuid and Windroar.
Me too - I'm less attached to my characters than I used to be. But it's definitely still there. Like Luka to you, Cluuid is my main wolf. Ahhh, clumsy enthusiasm.
For my art programs, what helped me was the tutorials made by other artists. I'm not sure if your art program would have many fan-made tutorials, though. Hmm. I think the most development for me, however was when I just take out a sketchpad and sketch to my heart's content. Stick-poses, animals, facial expressions, that's what art is about to me. It's more entertainment than "art"... it's for fun!
